What inspired you to become a speechie?
I’ve always been fascinated with human sciences and linguistics and loved spending time with kids. I also wanted to be in a career that enabled me to support and empower people. A speechie was the golden ticket!
Who do you like to work with?
Children with a range of communication difficulties including speech, language, fluency (stuttering), literacy and social skills. Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay and Intellectual Delay, cleft lip/palate.
Reading, spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants and cafes (I love food!).
Favourite speech games?
Currently would have to say creating with play-doh and good old bubbles, but I can’t wait to explore new things with my clients!
