What inspired you to become a speechie?
I’ve always enjoyed working with children and believe that everyone has a right to communicate. Being able to support people to communicate is very close to me and my family.
Who do you like to work with?
Children with a range of communication difficulties including speech, language, fluency (stuttering), literacy and social skills. Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay and Intellectual Delay.
I really look forward to summer time because I love going to the beach, however I have recently fell in love with skiing too (so don’t mind winter anymore)! I also play netball and enjoy playing with my two dogs (they’re very cheeky). Eating breakfast out on Saturdays is also a favourite!
Favourite speech games:
I will never say no to bubbles or a good jumping game! Pop Up Pirate, Pop The Pig and playing with the toy cars and are also some of my favourites!
